Investment Leverage
Investment leverage allows you to borrow an agreed sum of money against your assets for a term of up to ten years. This lets you release liquidity in your assets to assist with your long-term financial needs and investment strategies.
Leveraging with Barclays
Investment leverage is available against all the major investments we sell, including equity funds, hedge funds, sub-investment grade and emerging market credit, and structured products.
We can offer:
- Fixed or variable interest rates
- Leverage in any major currency
- Any term between one and ten years
- Facility structures matched to the profile of investment
- Consideration of all major investment classes, including single line holdings
- Competitive loan-to-value ratios
- Bespoke leverage deals on larger amounts structured in alliance with the Barclays Group
You should note that returns on investments may be less then the interest paid on the loan. Leverage is a high-risk product and you can lose money.
