Our credit card available to Guernsey residents is a safe, convenient way to pay that gives you control over your spending. Plus you'll get a range of valuable benefits, both at home and abroad.

Barclaycard Platinum Credit Card

A reliable, secure way to buy that gives you some breathing space on your finances and lots of useful benefits:

  • Identity Protection Service - advice about how to protect yourself from identity theft
  • Safer shopping with Fraud Protection, including chip and PIN and alerts if there is unusual spending on your account
  • Worldwide Assistance - emergency help when you're travelling abroad
  • Manage your account online for greater convenience
  • Free text alert service - opt in for notification five days before a payment is due

  • Available in sterling only

  • 14.9% APR typical (variable)

Debit cards

Barclays Connect debit card

A versatile debit card you can use in Guernsey and abroad that helps you keep track of your account balance.

  • Pay for goods and services at more than 29 million outlets worldwide
  • The Connect card debits your current account as soon as you make a purchase or withdraw cash
  • Available in sterling only.

Deferred debit card

This debit card is available in euros and US dollars. You can use it to withdraw cash and make purchases around the world.

  • Charges all your transactions to your account in a single monthly debit
  • Nominate up to nine additional cardholders (eight for joint accounts)
