    • a Connect Electronic card to shop with, or withdraw £300 a day from any Barclays cash machine as long as they have enough money in their account and they get their parent's or guardian's permission**

The Cash Card and Connect Electronic Card are currently unavailable to BarclayPlus account holders with a Gibraltar sort code: 233374, 204521 or 204515.

*They can also use their Barclays Cash Card wherever the LINK sign is displayed and their Connect Electronic card wherever they see a PLUS sign.

**To apply for a Connect Electronic card, permission from a parent or guardian will be required.

The account is available to children of Barclays Wealth International clients who have iBank, iBank Plus, iBank Saver, Relationship Manager Service, iBank Student or International Student and Family Package. It is not available as a standalone product, except to children resident for tax purposes in the Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Gibraltar.

How to apply

If you are not currently a Barclays Wealth International client, our minimum qualifying criteria is either:

  • an annual gross income of £24,000 or more (or currency equivalent) deposited into a Barclays Wealth account; or:
  • £5,000 or more (or currency equivalent) across the accounts you hold with us.
