Six new investment advisors appointed to Barclays Wealth Investment Advisory team

Barclays Wealth, a leading global wealth manager, has today announced the expansion of its Investment Advisory team with the appointment of six new investment advisors to support the UK & Ireland and International EMEA Private Bankers.  Over the past six months Barclays Wealth has invested extensively within the Investment Advisor area to ensure quality investment advice and an enhanced client experience.

The new appointments to the Investment Advisory team include George King and Irina Marty who both join as Directors. Prior to Barclays, George spent ten years at AllianceBernstein, in a similar investment and advisory role for private clients in the US and was subsequently based in London where he helped establish their private client business. Irinia Marty joins from Fortis Bank where she led the sales team for the UK Corporate Desk on Interest Rates, FX & Derivatives. Before that Irina was the Head of Business Development: Interest Rates, FX & Commodities at Lloyds TSB – Financial Markets Division.

Su Vohrah, Phil Attreed, and Amin Hashemi all join the team as Vice Presidents. Su Vohrah joins from UBS and prior to this she worked within Citi Private. Phil Attreed and Amin Hashemi both have ten years of investment experience from within Barclays Wealth and have moved internally to join the Investment Advisory team.

Ben Meyer also joins the from Rothschild Bank A.G. were he worked as an Equity Research Analyst for the private bank;
