New Director Karine Genevy will focus on providing individually tailored investment solutions for Barclays Wealth's international private banking clients.

Barclays Wealth, the UK’s largest wealth manager, has appointed Karine Genevey as a Director in its Investment and Product Office.
Karine joins the firm after six years with Morgan Stanley International where, most recently, she was responsible for the provision of derivative products advice and support to wealth managers throughout Spain and France.
She has a PhD gained at Université Pierre et Marie Curie in Mathematics and an MBA from INSEAD.
In her new role with Barclays Wealth, Karine will manage all aspects of the important interface between the firm’s Investment and Product Office and its International Private Banking operation. Day to day accountabilities will involve working closely with client relationship managers on the design, prioritisation and implementation of tailored investment solutions for Barclays Wealth’s international private banking clients. Karine will be based in Geneva.
Kevin Lecocq, Barclays Wealth’s Chief Investment Officer and Head of its Investment and Product Office, confirmed the importance of this new hire. He commented: “The seamless delivery of individually focused investment recommendations to our clients lies at the core of Barclays Wealth’s proposition. The new role will be pivotal in this regard and we are delighted to have attracted someone of Karine’s experience and calibre.”
